BOREDOM =FRUSTRATION=ANGER
Hey friends, this is my first blogpost. And I am excited to share my ideas with you. Today I have chosen the topic 'of getting bored and interesting way to handle it'. In today's rat racing world, we millanial are easily bored. And boredom caries too much negativty. It causes frustration, anger etc. And that's too much negatively to handle at the same time. So here are few "fun ways" to drive it out. I have jotted down some points based on own experience and likings. Look forward to some comments from you on my suggestion

1. Awareness _Know your mind and track your thoughts because Thoughts are things believe it or not your thoughts today are physical realities tomorrow. So first of all boredom is really negative emotions wich must be avoided as much as possible.

2 .Books -Any book a day keeps boredom away .Now when do we actually get bored when there is nothing to do, so what could be better other than reading books. You will be transmuted to a whole new world and you never know it may become a hobby

3. Cooking and "not eating"- Try to cook rather just sitting with a bowl of chips. you will be amused at our creation further fill your stomach and others too.If you are a beginner go simply with salads or sandwiches, if you cook regularly master it or create your signature dish.

4 .Get Out - Simply get up wear your favorite t shirt...look good and get out.It can be anything just a walk or some museum or window shopping or just a walk.

5. Down the memory lane - The old album's which reminds you of mesmerising memories will instantly fill your heart's with joy and happiness. Positive vibes drive out boredom and make a happy you. Reading old diaries of yours (if you write) is pure entertainment and if not you may start one.

6. Music- the healing procedure which has a cure from anything to everything; whether it is sleep meditation or some groovy music it can instantly change your mood.

7. Cleaning Meditation - Yes I agree many consider it boring itself but few people know how magical is meditation. Remove negative emotions in 15 minutes Sit down close your eyes and relax for 4 -to 5 minutes and dwell upon the idea that "the network of previous thoughts are evaporating and leaving my constitution" doing it consistently will make you feel lighter and happier within 2 days.

8. Make nitty gritty changes - We often get bored with the way we look, the way we carry ourselves. So stop complaining and try making tiny changes like Chandil your hairstyle or being more concerned about the way you look. Developing healthy habits is another way to kick out boredom.

9.Make Space  - Look into your closet, wardrobe, book shelf many kinds of stuff such as books paper's or dresses which you don't need anymore can be discarded and donated rather than accumulating them. This way you bring life to your home too.

10. My Guru Mantra - Just do some work the moment you start feeling bored don't let it lead to procrastination and there are lot many things to do from laundry to washing to painting or just arranging your bookshelf. Remember BOREDOM is all in the mind don't let it conquer your body.

P.S hope after reading this next time you will wait to get bored because boredom is actually so much to do with.

Assam diaries - top 10 attraction of ASSAM

By - Sudipta Barman

Having shifted my base to Assam from a ever buzzing city named Kolkata, gave me an unique exposure to a delightful creation of mother nature. Assam, the tea maker of India is blessed with hills and greener in its purest form. The mystic land of Assam covered with lofty blue hills is the gateway to the northeast frontiers of India.

Beginning with the mythological tales by Grandmother, I had heard a lot about the mighty Brahmaputra river that flows down from Tibet to meander through Assam. But, Assam is much more than the mythological conections and tea cultivation. The state is a beautiful amalgamation of culture, history, wildlife and civilisation.
So, to experience the true taste of Assam, we must visit certain places. I intend to give you a low down on the important sites of Assam which may or may not feature in your tourist guide handbook. Here you go with the list of destination you would love to visit with your family, friends or even on a lone voyage!

Kamakhya Temple

Category : Religious
This is one of the most famous place for Tantric practices in India. Mythologically, according to Purans, Lord Vishnu severed corpse of Parvati into pieces with Sudarshan Charkra to calm down Lord Shiva from continuing “Tandav” carrying her dead body, which could destroy Universe. Legends reveal that her "yoni" or vagina fell here, making it one of the most sacred of Shaktipitas.

Haflong

This is the only hill-station of Assam. This hill-station is famous for rainbow which can be seen down below. Jatinga, famous for the unexplained phenomenon of migratory birds "committing mass suicide",( according to scientists, it is because of disorientation created because of high altitude, high speed wind and dense widespread fog )) is only 9 km away from Haflong.

Assam, with its rich diversity of wild lives draws a large number of tourists from boh india nd abroad. Barring Africa, perhaps no other country would have such rich bio-diversity and boasts of such a variety of wildlife.

Mrs. Funnybones sent me on a laughter riot!

#Book review  #Mrs.Funnybones

Crisply written pieces woven together to make a perfect light-hearted satire. In each page, I feel she has served her soul with a touch of fun, drama, and sensibility of progressive Indian women. The writing is much evolved compared to other Indian authors I have read.

Beautifully written, articulate in thoughts takes me to a different level of Indian English literature, it doesn't let me feel bored for a moment. I admire the sensibility of this book, each chapter had me hooked to it, till the last page I didn’t feel monotonous. In  every page I could imagine Twinkle Khanna, and her family in the role playing.

Writing style is original and independent. Every paragraph is a reflection of her depth of knowledge. The length of the book is enough to keep one engaged for three days and end in a soulful manner before boredom sets in. Unique in writing style, author gives a freshness to otherwise daily routine of an Indian married woman.

A former Bollywood actress,(laughs away on her acting skills) who has an awesome sense of humour, writes in various leading newspapers as a columnist and attempts a bare heart satire on everything under the sun, including politics, socialites and her daily routine as a wife, daughter, daughter in law and a mother.

2 CMs, lost twins of Kumbha mela, found in CM seats

My admiration for these two activist chief ministers just keep increasing day by day. The people connect, the social causes, the fights and the fights which keep them alive makes atleast 5 minutes of my day, 5 minutes I spend reading jokes on them shared on #Facebook #Twitter and #whatsapp. They are just amazing, the jokes are no less than their real time antics. The two chief ministers located in top 2 metro cities have more similarities than twin siblings.

The top 5 I can recall, I am thrilled to share here just for some real amusent.  I had to give due credit to Viru for inspiring me to write this post.

The rebel is my style ;) whatever is the topic, my style is Rebel. If I am in opposition I rebel, if I am the chief minister, then also I rebel. If I don't find anything to rebel, I fight with the sky, trees and stones.

We fast, faster than fastest campaign to become chief ministers - These leaders taught us actual benefit of fasting, besides the health benefits. We fast for people, we fast against people, we fast against corruption, we fast for corruption. We fast against industrialists, we fast against industrilisation. Keeping our fasts alive, we became chief minister's.

We are highly educated - The education err,.. hush hush he was a civil servant and her PHD degree was bitten by rats.

I am targeted - We were for people, hence the ruling party targeting us, now we are ruling so, opposition targeting us. The pollution threat is opposition's conspiracy and military activities are to threatening CM? Everybody target us. The other day, pappu threw rose petals, he was targeting us. Why are they targeting? we are always 'in' for arguing!!!

We fight for a cause, causes we don't actually understand - it exists dear, it exists. You don't understand. My publicist is on leave for 5 days for his daughter's marriage, and he didn't share any talk points. I 'll go low on TRP. Modi, Tata, Trump getting million views, nobody is even writing a joke on me. So, I called my newspaper wala and told him to slap me. That's all. a quick selfie, and my job is done!

Once upon a time in Kolkata

It was a chilling evening of the year 2014. In the new city, didn't even have a friend to ask out for a coffee. So, decided to come out of my hotel and walk the lanes to Park street, the famous street of Kolkata.

The bright road lights had witnessed the bright Christmas celebrations and was eagerly waiting for the new year. I could see groups gathering for selfies, sharing momos, adoring the lightworks of parkstreet. Walking in a dreamy trance, didnt realise when I reached my destination. The Flurries was abuzz with people of all age. The love for cake, pastries, coffee and christmas was evident and beautiful.

I ordered a cup of hot cappuccino and some cookies. I was sipping my coffee, and suddenly i noticed this female with knee length black leather jacket. Her brown flowy hair occasionally fell on her chiks, her hands were moving in rhythm with her conversation on phone. She was done with her coffee. I realised I too had finished. She stood up, picked up her four-wheeler suitcase and kept walking towards her cab, towards the main junction, where her cab was waiting. I kept looking at her, what ease and what a style of a beautiful, independent and elegant woman. I kept looking at until she fazed away. She was gone, I felt a sudden vacuum in my heart, felt wish I could speak to her once!

Saddened with the thought that won't be able to meet her again, something struck my eyes, it was her small blue purse on the table she was sitting. It felt like a blessing coming directly from the stars above. I was swift to open the purse. Yes! Some cash, credit cards and her ID card, enough for making her a comeback. I called her, she recieved the phone in a subtly strong voice, I somehow gathered myself and mentioned about her purse she left at Flurry's table.

She paused for a while, thanked me and requested for a best possible way to meet the earliest. Her flight to Mumbai in 1.5 hours. The selfless "Hero" woke up in me. I offered to meet her directly at airport and hand the purse over. And incase I can't reach on time, I would courier it to her office mentioned in the is card, and she had my mobile number to track me down for any mischief.

She thought for a moment, and agreed. Without wasting any time, I opened my ola app, booked my ride, and zip zap zoom. I kept my driver Santosh on his toes. Santosh with a smile kept showing me the map. I reached Dumdum airport, bang-on in 55 mins. Before I pay my bill, I rang up the lady, she was waiting outside the airport. Came running getting my call. I knew it was for the purse and not for me, still kept looking at her animatedly. I stood still next to my cab. Shilpi came, thanked me zillion times and waived again vanished. She was gone again.

Now it was time to pay for my ride. I looked back, Santosh smiling at me said that the destination was not entered in the journey app. So, if I wish to continue my journey back to parkstreet in the same cab. I was more than happy to oblige. I felt a friend was there standing by me in the unknown city in search for an unknown soul. I thanked Santosh. He smiled and said, you haven't lost her yet. You have her phone number, and continued driving  the car. I kept thinking about Shilpi, Shilpi, Shilpi..
